Additional Information

Imitation gold foil is a type of foil made using non-pure gold components to mimic the appearance of real gold foil. It is one of the most widely used decorative foil materials, applied in various fields such as gold foil decoration projects for hotels and restaurants, gold foil decoration for temples and Buddha statues, the production of gold-lettered signs, gold foil tiles and mosaics, handmade gold foil wallpaper, as well as gold foil application on picture frames, crafts, and various other decorative materials. It is extensively used in luxury villas, star-rated hotels, clubs, temples, Buddha statues, signboards, couplets, plaques, mirrors, picture frames, gold foil paintings, and glass crafts. Its magnificent and luxurious effect surpasses that of any other material. While inheriting this ancient craft, our company has also developed artistic gold foil application techniques on materials such as wood, ceramics, glass, stone, metal, plastic, cement, and sandstone, making the gold foil application process richer in artistic connotation and more contemporary. Additionally, we have developed a series of gold foil PU (polymer) decorative building materials, as well as gold-faced tiles, gold-faced mosaics, and gold-faced decorative panels, which are among today’s fashionable and high-end decorative building materials, sparking new trends. Imitation gold foil has excellent ductility and can be processed into very thin sheets, known as gold foil. Physical and chemical properties: golden yellow in color, with a strong metallic luster and a golden streak. It is opaque, with a hardness of 2.5 and a density of 19 g/cm³. It has excellent ductility and can be hammered into thin sheets. It is highly insoluble and does not dissolve in water, acids, or bases. Although gold is a precious metal, it can still form many different types of compounds, with oxidation states ranging mostly from -1 to +5, primarily as monovalent and trivalent gold. Monovalent gold is the most common oxidation state, often forming complexes with "soft" ligands such as thioethers, thiolate anions, and tertiary phosphines, typically adopting a linear structure. One example is the dicyanoaurate ion, which is the primary form of gold in solution during cyanide leaching for gold extraction. Gold or gold-palladium alloys serve as conductive coatings in scanning electron microscopy for biological samples and other non-conductive materials such as plastics and glass. The coating is applied via sputtering in an argon plasma. The high electrical conductivity of gold directs electric charges to the ground, while its high electron density provides a stopping power for the electrons in the scanning electron microscope's electron beam, helping to limit the depth of electron penetration into the sample. This enhances the accuracy of measuring the sample's position and surface morphology and improves the spatial resolution of the image.
